Using the Stamp outside US or Canada

Companies desiring to use the Stamp in countries other than the U.S. and Canada are welcome to contact us for more information. The Whole Grains Council can:
Help you explore any regulatory issues.
Create Stamp graphics in your language.
Advise you on consumer campaigns.
Qualifying Products
As in the U.S. and Canada, products must contain at least 8g of whole grain per serving to bear the Whole Grain Stamp. All requirements for using the Stamp are generally the same as in the U.S.
We recommend that all WGC members (or prospective members) planning to use the Stamp outside of the U.S. and Canada start by downloading and reviewing a copy of the International Stamp Usage Guide in English or in Spanish:
English: International Stamp Usage Guide, for outside US & Canada (680K PDF)
Español: Guía de Uso del Sello de Granos Enteros fuera de los Estados Unidos y Canadá (528K PDF)
Graphics Available in Many Languages
A full set of Whole Grain Stamp graphics is currently available in three language versions, as pictured above: English, French/English, and Spanish. All three versions use the same colors and key graphics as the U.S. Stamp, but there is no "fine print" under the Stamp, as dietary guidelines differ from country to country.
We can send a CD Whole Grain Stamp graphics in the language of your choice to any WGC member who is marketing qualifying products in other countries. Just contact Kara Berrini (617-896-4880 or kberrini@oldwayspt.org) and specify whether you'd like
the International English CD
the French / English (Canadian) CD
the Spanish CD
Local Regulations
The Whole Grains Council will grant you permission to use the Stamp based on your compliance with our rules and regulations. Complying with local food-packaging regulations is your responsibility, although we are glad to assist and provide information on the Whole Grain Stamp program to your authorities at your request.
