Sprouted Brown Rice Pudding

Sun Valley Rice

A super-easy dessert, using left-over cooked sprouted brown rice. Instead of raisins, try other dried fruits, or make it plain (as shown) and top with your favorite fresh fruit.

ingredients

1 1/2 cups cooked sprouted brown rice
2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (freshly grated best)

Instructions

1. Combine all in 1 quart casserole and stir.

2. Bake at 300° F for 45 minutes. Stir once about 15 minutes after placing in oven.

3. Serve with the garnish of your choice such as fruit or a sprinkling of cinnamon.
