Emily Ho is the Endowed Chair and Director of the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University She is also a full professor in Nutrition and former Director of the Moore Family Center for Whole Grain Foods, Nutrition & Preventive Health in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences. Dr. Ho obtained her BS in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and earned her doctorate in Nutrition Sciences at Ohio State University. Her research focuses on understanding the mechanisms by which nutrient status and whole foods affect the initiation and/or progression of chronic diseases.
