Keagan Ringling is a business development manager for The Plant Pathways Company, a plant-breeding company that improves crops for enhanced nutritional, functional, and environmental outcomes. He has spent time working in the grain industry and as a consultant working with agrifood companies on R&D and business development projects spanning the grain & seed, oil, fiber, and sweetener categories. He is driven to feed the growing population value-added, sustainable, nutritious foods to optimize human health and environmental resources.
Keagan earned his BS and PhD degrees in nutrition from the Department of Food Science and Nutrition in the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences at University of Minnesota. His graduate research focused on new crop development for the dual purposes of improved food quality and enhanced environmental outcomes. He resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with his wife. In his free time, he is an avid runner, gardener, and cook.
