Don’t worry, you didn’t miss the summer! It’s still June, we didn’t jump to September, but the inspired (and inspiring) people at Culinate.com have decided to create their own whole-grain challenge.
Culinate has been a favorite web site of mine for some time now, and I love their desire to foster and encourage “an ongoing conversation about learning to eat well.” Throughout June, Culinate’s food editor will blog her eﬀorts to eat whole grains at every meal, every day. Visitors to the site are encouraged to sign up and join the challenge, to consider the health beneﬁts of eating more whole grains, and of course, to experiment in the kitchen. We at the WGC think this is pretty awesome, and I’m looking forward to checking in with the Challenge each day to see how things are going. Who knows, I may try a few new whole grain recipes myself, just for fun! (Kara – June 5, 2008)
