Whole Grains: the World Tour

 

In 2019, for the month of September, we took over 3,000 followers on a culinary tour of whole grain recipes from around the world, calling it Whole Grains: The World Tour. Each day in September, followers received an email featuring a new whole grain recipe along with cooking tips and little-known facts about their favorite grains. We highlighted recipes inspired by Mediterranean, African, Latin American, and Asian cuisines, most of which were contributed by our culinary advisors and WGC members.

Folks also joined us on social media using #WholeGrainsMonth and sharing gorgeous pics of their drool-worthy whole grain creations. Here are just a few examples:
