Chef Michael Holleman began his culinary career in independent restaurants, where he developed a keen interest in specialty ingredients. For more than two decades, he served as the culinary director for InHarvest, where he built a team that became the primary image and brand builder for all segments, including foodservice, industrial, retail, and private label. During his tenure, Michael traveled nationally and internationally, delivering presentations and cooking demonstrations on whole-grain trends and innovative applications, with a particular emphasis on plant-based food solutions.
Based in northern Minnesota, Chef Michael launched MBH Culinary LLC, a consulting business focused on helping companies navigate the complexities of foodservice channels, with a core emphasis on all-natural ingredients and whole and ancient grains.
A member of the International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC) and the Research Chefs Association (RCA), Chef Michael currently chairs the advisory committee of the Whole Grains Council. He is also the 2012 recipient of the RCA’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
