World of Grains has a cute little quiz on their Facebook page that will test your knowledge of whole grains and determine whether you’re a “seedling,” a “growing grain,” or a “whole grain.” It’s a pretty easy quiz, so anyone who hangs around on the Whole Grains Council website should be able to ace it. Stop by and give it a try.

You’ll also want to try the World of Grains cookies. The best reason to eat them is that they taste really good. Isn’t that why we eat cookies in the first place? But then you look at the back of the pack and you realize how much better they are for you than something like Oreos.

Compare a serving of each. World of Grains: first ingredient, whole grain blend. Contains 15g of whole grain, 3g of fiber, 3g of protein. Oreos: first ingredient, sugar. Contains no whole grains, 1g of fiber, 2g of protein. The World of Grains cookies have less than half the fat and less than half the sodium of the Oreos, too. Kudos to World of Grains for combining good health and good taste. (Cynthia)
