Join the WGCThe WGC wants to help consumers and companies find the whole grains they need. To this end, we maintain four lists, open only to WGC members. This is a great benefit of WGC membership, so take advantage of it, and supply your information today.
The information below explains how your company can participate. For all of our lists: Once your listing is posted, Vik Bensen will also be happy to make updates if you change your offerings in the future.
Ingredient Sourcing Page (B2B)
This Business-to-Business list will help you reach manufacturers looking to buy wholesale WHOLE grains with which to make their products. Please note that this list only includes single ingredient whole grains (red rice, quinoa, barley flakes, whole white wheat flour, etc.) or 100% whole grain blends of single ingredient products with no added ingredients. They also include the whole grain flours and meals milled from them.

Notes:
Under “Grains Offered” please use a full description of each WHOLE grain you offer, such as Whole White Wheat Flour, Tri-color (red, white, brown) Quinoa, etc. You can list as many WHOLE grains as you want — remember, no refined grains. Under “Notes” please feel free to include any information that will help you get requests from the kind of customers you are best suited to serve (volume, location, whatever). In this section you might also note whether you’re able to help customers with product development.
Email the information above to Vik Bensen (vik@oldwayspt.org or 617-896-4810) and we’ll add it to our list. We are often asked about sources for whole grain ingredients, and now we can simply send this link to those who inquire.
Mail Order Grain Sources Page (B2C)
This Business-to-Consumer page helps people locate grains we’re promoting on the WGC website. Whenever we write about sorghum, or teff, or any grain, we get emails saying, “Where can I find that in Miami?” or “What stores in East Overshoe carry that grain?” We need your help in maintaining the definitive list of mail order sources for plain grains. Please note that this list only includes single ingredient whole grains (red rice, quinoa, barley flakes, whole white wheat flour, etc.) or 100% whole grain blends of single ingredient products with no added ingredients. They also include the whole grain flours and meals milled from them.

Notes:
Under “Grains Offered” please use a full description of each WHOLE grain you offer, such as Hulled Barley, Red Quinoa, Coarse-ground Kamut® bulgur, etc. You can list as many WHOLE grains as you want — remember, no refined grains. Under “Notes” please feel free to include any information that will help consumers understand what you offer, such as “Free shipping on orders over $25” or “10% off when you buy three or more grains and say the WGC sent you.” Of course anything you write here can’t be time-limited.
Email the information above to Vik Bensen (vik@oldwayspt.org or 617-896-4810) and we’ll add it to our list. The list is located in the Find Whole Grains section of the WGC website, making it easy for us to send the link to anyone seeking mail order sources for small quantities of grains.
foodservice services and products directory
We want to help you tell restaurants and foodservice operators about the product development and other support services you offer to them. Do you have culinary staff who can develop recipes? Food technologists who can create just the right bun or tortilla? Do you invite customers to your Innovation Center for collaborative development? Will your chefs come educate your customers’ chefs and share tips for getting the most from whole grains?
We maintain an online directory of companies’ capabilities – and are planning to expand this to active outreach in 2017, in a directory that allows for ads and expanded listings. You can read more about this directory here, then fill in an online form with your information here.
Co-Packing / Private Label Manufacturing List
We also have a Co-packing / Private Label Manufacturing List, to help the many companies that contact us saying, “Do you know any good companies that can manufacture our crackers for us?” or “Who could work with us on the new breakfast cereal we’re bringing to market?” For this list, please send us:

Notes:
In the Notes section, list anything you want that will help you attract the kinds of business you want, while making it clear what sort of business doesn’t suit your needs. As with our other lists, send the information above to Vik Bensen (vik@oldwayspt.org or 617-896-4810) and we’ll add it to our list.
